Join 350Deschutes and local progressive forces as we march in solidarity with the Women’s March in DC on Saturday, January 21st. The march will highlight the power of intersectional communities in resistance against hate, fear, and oppression. This election shows us indisputably that we cannot stay silent, and we will not stay seated. We are standing up and speaking together with one voice about all progressive issues. We are feminists; we are people of color; we are planet protectors; we are LGBT; we are Muslims; we are disabled individuals; we are labor; we are allies. We are frontline, we are organized. We are everyone and we are strong!
We will be meeting at Drake Park at 11am, followed by a march through downtown Bend, then finally reconvening at Crow’s Feet Commons. There will be speakers, volunteer opportunities with local social justice and environmental organizations (including 350Deschutes!), live music and more! If you would like to lend a hand, contact us!
